and by health i do not mean i want to work for a doctor. dont be fooled. that is not a healthcare system. that is a disease control system. FOOD is a healthcare system.
if you havent seen it i strongly suggest watching " FOOD MATTERS" that film flipped my mind upside down. one of the scientists suggested treating bipolor, depression and anxiety with Niacin.niacin is a b vitamin that most depressed people are very deficient of. he said its never killed anyone- even taking thousands of miligrams a day. but its not marketed. its not profitable so why market it when welbutrin and zoloft and paxil and shit bring in billions of dollars?! i considered this, did some research, talked to my shrink, and stopped taking my antidepressants and ambien.
i havent taken a pill in 4.5 months. historically, when i get off meds i lose my mind and hate my life and end up in a mental hospital. i have been on them for 12 years. for over 4 months i havent taken a single presciption and i havent lost it. i actually feel BETTER THAN EVER. i started by weaning off my pills and building up onto niacin. all medically supervised (im lucky enough to have a dr who i not blinded by the idea theres a pill for every ill)eventually i was up to 2,000 mg of niacin daily. then i started neuorfeedback. this is when electricity is hooked up to your brain to realign and resync and put everything back the way its supposed to be. it helps ADD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, sleep issues, etc. i get neurofeedback twice a week and fortunately my insurance covers it because its about $100 a session. however, if i lost my insurance tomorrow id pay out of pocket. it is worth it. i have NEVER felt like this without medication. EVER. between my brain being aligned and my nutrition being on point there is not way i can fail at this. i am not crazy. its all natural, and its amazing.

FOOD INC. amazing. this will make u think about what you eat and why you eat it. it doesnt preach veganism but it does preach eating farm raised animals. i agree. you dont have to be vegan. but its your responsibility as a carnivore to eat meat that hasnt been tortured and fed dead rotting carcuses of other animals. is that REALLY what you want in your body? watch the documentry and see the farmer who perdue shut down because she wouldnt get rid of the windows in her chicken coups because she believes in fresh air. they even take you to a nice green farm where this man raises farm raised free range grass fed chickens. he is the MOST human possible. and still at 47:15 he picks up a chicken to cut its head off and the chicken is literally SCREAMING "OW OW OW OWWWW!!!!!" you know, like youd scream if someone was hurting you. watching things like that does not convince me its OK to eat animals just because we give them grass and sunshine. however i do feel better about other people eating those animals. you are what you eat. and now, and excerpt from SKINNY BITCH:

" i cannot read that paragraph without crying. when i became vegan in 2009 i did it stricktly for the animals. this time i did it for the health. however, i still feel extreme guilt over all the animals ive killed (carnivores are responsible for about 70 animals a year each)and reading reality checks like that breaks my heart. You dont have to be vegan. you dont have to be vegetarian. but PLEASE watch that film and atleast educate yourself. i have more respect for people who KNOW what they are eating and contributing to and still choose to do it than i do for those who choose to just look the other way because they think if they dont look its not really happening. it is. you will take something away from that documentary. even if its not veganism ( like i said- food inc does NOT promote veganism- so dont not watch it because u think thats what its about) it will change your life.

theres a fat diabetic in FOOD INC complaining about spending $200 a month for diabetes medicine. he could switch his diet an cure diabetes sand his risk for hear disease with $200 month!! grinds my gears!!!! i also learned 1 in 3 Americans born after 2000 will end up with diabetes. not type 1. type 2. caused by their diet. IF YOU HAVE THREE KIDS AND KEEP TEACHING THEM TO EAT SHIT, STATISTICALY, ONE OF THEM WILL GET DIABETES.
iv recently started dehydrating. because i want the most nutritious food in my body i know raw is best- but i cannot commit to a raw diet. so a dehydrator heats food so low it does not kill all the nutrients the oven does. so far ive made kale chips, plantain chips, pineapple and zucchini! awesome!
so today i spent $13 on a pound of raw goji berries. you think im crazy right?! wrong! heres an example of how "healthy" is expensive. $13 for a pound of berries! STFU. but this is my thought. I spent $13 on a pizza designed to kill me by 45 atleast once a week and it was gone in hours. a pound of goji berries will easily last 2 weeks as well as providing more nutrients than an entire pizza could ever IMAGINE. so why spend $13 on poison when you could spend it on one of the most amazing superfoods known to man kind? it doesnt seem so expensive now does it?
what is a superfood? some people think its a marketing thing- and in some cases it is. companies use the word all the time to make their products more appealing. but an actual superfood is just a food that is so nutritious is had medicinal properties. how on earth can ONE food fix so many problems, you might ask? because i deficiency in ONE food can cause SO MANY problems. i hate when people try to tell me they eat healthy by rattling off all the things they dont eat. "i dont eat red mean, i dont eat oil, i dont eat sugar" health isnt about what you DONT eat, its about what you DO eat. SO WHAT if you dont eat steak. do u think chicken for EVERY MEAL is going to give you what you need? SO WHAT if you dont eat white bread. do you think wheat bread is a superfood? its not! so many times we eat a full meal and still feel hungry! you are not imagining this! your body IS asking you for more! although you may not be starving in a physical sense, if youre starving in a nutritional sense your body is going to keep trying to get you to eat until you get what you need, and chances are you will grab some more fries and never figure it out.

Hippohopcretes said it best- "let thy food be thy medicine". think about things. do research. pay attention to how you feel. you could feel A LOT better if you just changed your food. millions of people die taking the correct doses of pharmacetuicals every day. not ONE death is attributed to vegetables and healthy eating- yet they can cure the same diseases. id go for the one with the smaller risk- and much smaller price tag. im encouraging you to try to adjust your diet before you go get yourself a new pill. i became obsessed trying to cure an ulcer. unfortunately i havent cured it in the 4 months ive been obssessed about nutrition. however- there was a point when i was wearing sunglasses in the house my corneal ulcer was that sensative. i havent used the prescribed medication in months (its long term side effect is blindness- ive been instructed by a doctor to use it 5x daily for the rest of my life. DAFUQ!!!!!) and although the actual ulcer does not look smaller the light sensitivity is minimal. i believe i can heal this if i put in the work. thats the only time nutrition and natural rehabilitation dont work- when you dont actually DO it.
