So, if were friends on facebook you know that last week i hoped to weigh in at 159 and rather than losing the pound i wouldve needed to lose, i GAINED a pound. i was pissed because i was working out hard and im doing this infomercial- yet i hadnt lost in 2 weeks. i knew something wasnt right because it wasnt adding up. i finally figured it out!
a few days ago i logged onto my SparkPeople account to look at my past measurments. i saw the option to change my weight so i decided to update it and thats when i realized the problem! for months ive been updating my current weight, but never my GOAL weight. my goal weight was set at 175lbs. so ever since ive been less than 175 spark people thinks i want to GAIN weight. so here i am, eating like 1500 calories a day because it told me to. i knew that was a lot of calories for my size but i thought maybe it had been adjusted because i had been working out so much. it didnt. it adjusted because i told spark people i weighed 161lbs and wanted to weigh 175. sparkpeople.com then calculates how many cals to eat a day in order to reach your goal. obviously i need to eat more to gain weight. had i NOT pushed so hard in the gym and with my workouts i probably wouldve gained a lot more than a pound.
so about 3 days ago i discovered that error. since then im eating appropriately (about 1200 cals a day) and today i woke up and weighed in at..... 158.8lbs!!!!!!!
HOOORAYYYY!!!!!!
